There will be news. Probably not earth shaking, but there will be news so that Awesome Penny has something to work with. Even average news combined with a full court press of newsletter, message boards, and strategic buying by the big stock holders will drive it up. Aug. 15 is the the date shares become unrestricted. It may not happen on that day though. It could happen in early Sept. IMO. People are away on vacations at the end of Aug. I would prefer early Sept.
