American Water Star Inc. Distributor Receives Approved Vendor Status from MGM Properties

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 2005--American Water Star Inc. (AMEX: AMW) is pleased to announce that MGM Properties has given approved vendor status to their Las Vegas-based distributor for AMW products. MGM Properties Slots of Fun has placed their initial order for Margarita, Strawberry Margarita and Mai Tai mixers. "This is a significant accomplishment for AMW," said Roger Mohlman, CEO of American Water Star. "We had some tough competition in this category and we're pleased that our product line made it to the top. In addition, this approved vendor status allows us to make presentations at all other MGM Properties." AMW has been asked by Circus Circus Casino & Hotel, which is an MGM Property, to research a new form of innovative packaging for mixers for their specific property. "We have already made provisions to set up a specific line in our Phoenix plant to accommodate their request," said Mohlman.

AMW has also received its first order from renowned chef Wolfgang Puck Catering Co., and The Jockey Club Hotel (www.Las-Vegas-hotels-x.com/Jockey-club.html) has placed its initial order for AMW brand Vegas Ice.
