My experience tells me you have to give partner deals 6 months. We should have a feel for it by then. The market doesn't know squat until there is something to know. Do you know of any deal that has ever occurred in 3 months or less....term sheets to completion? We are at the 3 month mark, roughly. I have never heard of lawyers/negotiations getting it done faster. So we are just now getting to where something could happen. Although all parties want a deal to happen faster, you can't rush it. I am thinking Kim has several deals to review and terms to reject/accept for each. He did say he would take the one that is best for us. But listening to the market up to this point, or thinking something is wrong....it is just too early.
