“I think if the compliance deadline is extended in the final proposal it would be very beneficial aspect of the rule because the compliance extension would allow more time for procurement, installation and scheduling,” Chizmadia said. “When (NESHAP) was published in 2010 it was extremely challenging.”

Regardless, Chizmadia said Lehigh Hanson was not banking on the extension and planned to become compliant by September 2013.
