Sort of late to the party with assertion #... Why now? Could it be because there is suddenly some upside in bringing this forward? Anybody get this picture besides me? If this was important and actually truthful, why wait until July 2012 to spew this? And as far as the diver, that just isn't credible to the untrained non-legal ear. Why would anyone mention that the emeralds floated from the Atocha, when the real story now is they were taken by a diver, reseeded on the ocean floor, and made to look like another discovery completely apart from the Atocha. Here again, how do you prove that? And what will the cross-examination reveal? What needs to be proved is that Jay didn't find the emeralds. And the desperation in each of these stories is easily revealed. Moreover, has anyone figured out where the emeralds were mined and if that would or would not attach them to the Atocha discovery? Maybe Jay has yet to be honest. But how does the concept of gems stolen with lack of oversight make the Fishers look competent? This story stinks of manipulation, coercion and immunity. Were the Fishers so stupid as to allow a site to be robbed? I hardly believe they would be that irresponsible. But as usual, the only thing stated on Ihub that really must ring true is that all wreck divers are shifty individuals. If this story goes south, then as I said before, it may be the Fisher's undoing. I hope this doesn't possibly make them look as "buying" an outcome. But upon cross-examination, that may be the irony. No idea, just a hunch. OR, Jay finally cracks and goes to jail. But the stakes appear greater. And the judge is still "riding" this debacle for little cause. PROVE ownership beyond Jay's bullsh...claim. Otherwise follow the rule of law and award the gems....tomorrow.
