"Paint" is a thin covering placed on the stock price (usually at the end of the trading day) to make the stock appear to be doing something it really isn't. In this case, someone is buying enough shares of AWSR to move the stock price up a little higher every day. If you look at a candlestick chart on this stock, it will appear to be in a solid uptrend (very attractive to buyers at the beginning of a promo). In a REAL uptrend, there is constant trading in the stock - buyers supporting the PPS when sellers take profits - all day long. In this case, all of the volume happens at once - at the end of the day- to make the closing price higher than it was the day before. There is no support for this higher price. The first sale will drop the PPS like a rock (witness today). The price on the chart is just a veneer. Hence, "paint".
