I have a few theories. If you line them up like you did one can speculate which means IMO IMO IMO IMO that the remaining 56 billion could be LAMCO after appreciation to date as of 12/31/2011. Why? lets take a look:

1. Investment in Affiliates is the amount Lehman put in the affiliates and could be the amount that will be written off.

2. I am not too sure its a net for due to and due from. We dont know enough details. But possible and lets assume its a net.

3. Remaining due from of 56 billion is not too much off my estimate of like 45 billion which IMO is the high end of LAMCO.

the 56 billion could be high range of lamco assets IMO. I am not saying it is and it could be by next BS release its shows a lot less...go figure...devil
