You can see here Japan has pretty extreme security for all exports. Being next to North Korea they look at every export carefully. Even for non military exports

I think this statement is incorrect. There has been a steady decline in silk production since the 1930s today the silk business in japan is very small and I doubt they leave buildings abandoned for years on an island that small with the population they have.
It is not like Detroit where factories stay empty till they rot away.

Proof is in the statement. It is obviously opinion. One which I agree with. Monster silk should expect a premium price. Which could even make it cost effective inside the USA depending on its use.

I understand where you are going manshoon but I think ZFs point is there are options besides China or some country that hates the USA. There is silk culture in every country in the world. I am sure we can find a processor outside the USA and be secure
