Hollund Industrial Marine, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HIMR) ("Hollund" or the "Company") announced that discussions with North Cal Wood Products, Inc., have resumed -- positioning Hollund to take advantage of a strategic partnership which could significantly impact the company's revenue model; potentially increasing the profitability of each concession secured by the underwater forest harvesting company.

"Our initial discussions with North Cal could be seen as premature," stated Sheldon Romain, Vice President of Hollund. "At that time, Hollund had not yet proven its ability to satisfy the demands of such a major wood product company. But in just over six months, with streamlining our business model, adjustments to management, significant reduction in debt and newly launched initiatives, Hollund is rapidly becoming a beacon within a $50+/- Billion market."

People close to both companies suggest that recent initiatives by Hollund to target the Brazilian underwater logging market, where Hollund's South American Project Development Team has identified two projects worth roughly $2 Billion, were not the sole motivator causing one of the nation's premier reclaimed woods companies to reinvigorate discussions with Hollund.

Mr. Romain continued, "The connection here is simple. North Cal wishes to push its environmental agenda while expanding its operations; substantially broadening distribution, especially online. To successfully accomplish both goals, North Cal is seeking to secure new sources of environmentally sensitive lumber. Underwater timber provides a perfect source for expanding their distribution."

Operating nearly 30 years, North Cal has become the nation's premier reclaimed woods company and distribution source for residential and commercial builders around the world. With a large portfolio of Fortune 500 clients and a growing deconstruction business, North Cal is involved in numerous high profile building and deconstruction projects throughout the United States.

North Cal's larger goal of reducing our carbon footprint has made it a pioneering force in the industry's movement toward environmental sustainability. Amongst the first FSC Certified Recycled companies, North Cal's products and services help to offset emissions from the logging, transportation, processing and the milling of new wood.

Executives at North Cal believe the global movement toward environmental sustainability is taking center stage. People close to North Cal suggest that Hollund is positioning to become the catalyst in a worldwide movement that is not just "Green" altruistically.

Romain concluded, "Our current position is much stronger today than when talks originated with North Cal back in December of 2011. We believe we can, and, intend to consummate a relationship with North Cal quickly. We are fairly confident that this partnership will indeed increase overall credibility and should considerably contribute to both shareholder confidence and value."
