You know what is sad? I have nothing to do at work. I am 13 years away from retirement. I had a good career up to the crisis but basically got demoted and taken out of most important transactional decisions and now left to interview, train and pass on my knowledge. I basically post on yahoo and here now to past time. I am going to stay here for as long as I can. All benefits and retirements are vested. Its too late and not cost effective for me to start a new career. If I quit, I will not make what I make now with another firm. I am not motivated. I dont really care if i work another day or not. My kids wants my wife and I to baby sit. LOL. which we do enjoy doing and do quite often on weekends. anyone else on the same boat with me?
