If you go to the petition webpage, there are over 180 support petitions showing, but some were late getting to the DRMS.
I can't explain the difference, but it may be that they grouped everything from the same names together. I sent a letter to the DRMS, and signed the petition. But I am not on the petition list. Makes you wonder how they file things. That's not a criticism of the DRMS, just a bit of confusion over the missing petition count.
I think 180 (or even just 37) emails on the same topic would be noticed by someone on the Governor's staff.
I'll let you know if I find anything from the Honorable Gov.
