Self-confessed wordaholic, Charlie Lawrence has spent the last 14 years putting persuasive words in the right order in every medium imaginable. During a career that has spanned TBWA, FCB, Publicis, D’Arcy, and Leo Burnett, Charlie has developed a knack for creating work that works.

His efforts have resulted in numerous creative and effectiveness awards of every denomination from the Australian Direct Marketing Association, including gold and most recently the Advertising Federation of Australia’s Effectiveness Campaign of the Year 2003.

Recent brands he has worked on include: Hewlett Packard, Blackmores, Proctor and Gamble, IBM, McDonalds, Compaq, AAPT, Nestle, NRMA, St George Bank, Coca Cola and Nokia. Charlie has also scripted TV shows, written two novels, published poetry and also writes A Few Lines of Charlie - a regular satirical opinion column in Australia’s leading advertising magazine AdNews.
