Some oil and gas companies are preparing to restart operations in the Gulf of Mexico that had been disrupted by Tropical Storm Debby, Reuters reports.
Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC), which on June 23 shut production at four locations, is restaffing its Gulf locations and plans to restart production after inspections.
BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) is restaffing two platforms it shut on June 22, and production is expected to restart June 26.
