99% of the time the 40 posts on the one board are posts about upticks, volume, changes, something. The posts are always different in some way. About the same stock, yes, but not spam because the content is different.
Now, when someone posts the *exact* same message to 5+ boards, that's spam.
I rarely enforce any kind of 'pumping' or 'bashing' rules unless it's just out of control. It's the nature of these sites. I do, however, enforce spam rules, which are completely unrelated to pumping/bashing, IMO.
