actually it's a cop out. This is a message board where the topic of discussion is a particular stock, the good, the bad, etc.

Just cause one believes they will eventually pull their heads out of their collective arses doesn't mean one still can't recognize that management is lacking in an important area of running a company.

Making excuses for them is akin to the ostrich buring it's head in the sand IMO.
