Interesting question. Couple of different scenarios. I just talked with a pharm rep who I know very well...top 10% in sales for his company in the US. Its a $42 pps company. He says if they have reps in their business right now, they have known about this drug for years and the day after approval, they will be beating down doctors doors. It will be a really big deal with a ton of promotion! However, if they are a pharm company with no reps in the field for any of their other products, its probably a BS company. He really knows nothing about the company other than he has never heard of it or the drug. So...that being said, I am still long but won't be adding to my position for a while. Does anyone know if they actually have reps in the field? That seems to be the question!
