SDH,

I actually shy away from the big name stocks like AAPL, PCLN, CMG....I have made good money playing stocks like MRK and especially VZ....not fast movers like some, but over a period of a week or so you can make really good bank if you are into holding for a while....that's why I always buy forward month next strike up options....if something goes afoul there is time to fix it.
