B2B, I thought that Dial got a Public defender

because he claimed to be broke. As I recall Jarvis was the only one who had cash. Ellerman was arrested after a trip to Panama - odd expense for someone who claims to be broke. Maybe he just ran out of money in Panama like the song:

unlike Jarvis he didn't post bail pending sentencing. Have I got this right?

I suppose it's possible that Ellerman could have gone to Panama to stash some loot. I seem to recall a post long ago about a Panama connection for Jim Dial.
