The prior art would include the first time anyone “manually typing (keying) in a UPC number.” You will notice this happens when a UPC doesn’t scan correctly at the local grocer.
I think it is important that NeoMedia investors clearly understand that NeoMedia patents which does not include: "Logos, Images, RFID, Mag Stripe, Voice, and other machine readable and keyed entry identifiers."

You are playing into SpyderLynk's hand by posting this. SPYDERLYNK said NeoMedia's counsel, Global IP, MENTIONED IN A CONVERSATION, that NeoMedia's IP covered image recognition. NeoMedia has never concurred. Neither has Global IP.
This would set NeoMedia up to a NEW ex parte re-exam, so why would NeoMedia say their patents cover a whole new classification of patents?
