Vines is absolutely correct..Excellent post....Everyone should think long and hard about what the implications are here
1. Scanbuy case isn't strong enough to go to court;the "facts" are that Neomedia holds the patent;what remains is what will be the penalty/settlement.The judges ruling clearly puts Scanbuy on the defensive
2. All future lawsuits will be a defacto win; litigation is ending
3 Scanbuy will have to pay royalties to Neomedia
4. Scanbuy has already announced that their software will be in 50 million phones this year (This does not mean Paperclick won't be in as many phones or more)
5. Martin Copus wouldn't have come over if he thought Scanbuy had an argument and he is proving to be correct
6. Neomedia isn't letting Scanbuy off easy like Virgin
7. If the above holds true, than the value of this stock is now worth significantly more as it is a forgone conclusion based on previous PR's that this tech is rolling out worldwide in the near term..short term target price for me is now $1.50...looking forward to the quiet period ending; Triton under our belts and a soaring share price...
