So, that leaves just one more thing. Heard from a few folks that they don't trust Matt. Has to do with OTCBB stocks and some such in the past. Now, I don't know Matt (although I'd like to know what names he uses here other than Fatt Matt, Matt Brown, and IH admin Matt) so I don't know, but I do think it would be a good idea for him to clarify his position on stock promotions, of any kind, from here on. I know you refrain from stock specific comments in your role as admin. (Yes, I've seen a post or two by you stating your wife has this or that, but haven't seen you "promote" anything). Would help a lot to read Matt's statement on this. And yours, should you feel like spelling it out. Can't hurt.
If you read the recent WSJ article you will notice that I was part of an investment team. I was known as Fatt Matt. It was the seed for the site. That was how I was known, so that is how this place got started -- my friends. If it weren't for them, this place would be non-existant. So I posted under that name to get this place going.
I no longer use that alias anymore because it would be a conflict of interest for me to post under an alias talking about stocks and also administer the site. Never did that.
The only aliases here that I have are: Fatt Matt (don't use), Matt Brown (to protect my name -- don't use), and IH Admin (Matt) (only one I use)
Just like anybody on the forums, you are going to have people that don't like you, don't trust you, etc. I'm sure you have some same kind of folks. And you are going to have people that like you. If it weren't for the fact that enough people trusted me, then this place wouldn't have even been here for you to log on to.
And Bob was the Admin at SI, my primary posting place before here. He knew me. If I was not trustworthy, he wouldn't waste his time with me.

edit: I just re-read your post. I have *never* been involved in any kind of stock promotions. Was never paid to say anything..
