yes that is small relative to the total short position. no reason to chase anything. the market always has other opportunities on the long and short side. regarding semis, intel looks likes it poised for a big drop of a few bucks. that will take a bite out of profunds semi sector fund should it occur as it represents over a third of the fund.

2005...the year of the shorts and small dogs.
