Yahoo finance type in ticker tvix.iv and that gives net asset value. The rest is just using calculations. Today's eod tvix.iv was $5.92. Today tvix closed at $6.43. Take 6.43 minus 5.92 equals .51 difference. Then .51 / 5.92 equals .09 which is 9 percent premium for tvix. Performing same calculations for uvxy routinely gives less than 1 percent difference. For a mind boggling premium check out gaz to its nav. It is currently trading at a 57 percent premium. That coupled with Contango might make that an interesting short this summer especially if we keep heading towards reaching maximum storage capacity.
