International Minerals Completes Transaction to Acquire Metallic Ventures Gold Scottsdale, Arizona, February 26, 2010

International Minerals Corporation (“IMZ”), listed on the Toronto and Swiss stock exchanges, is pleased to announce that it has closed the transaction to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. (TSX:MVG) (“Metallic”) by way of a statutory plan of arrangement (the “Transaction”). The Transaction was previously announced in joint news releases dated October 29, 2009 and November 2, 2009.
