Does the standard issue police officer have a say in how the department is going to be run and where the funding is going to go? You had an answer for that a few days ago...its the powers that be not Joe gum shoe. Sorry to say but in the world of management he is replaceable.

Dazer, Tazer, shot gun or wrist rocket they get what is deemed necessary to perform their job safely and effectively. As far as Taser's track record they may be cheap to purchase, but they also put a major dent in the budget for litigation. Taser is surly not the only answer...bet on it.
