Hopefully, I am not being "singled out" primarily because I have chosen a "screen name" or member I.D. that could be confused with an I.D. that is regarded as controversial on another stock message board.
If you approved a request for my post to be deleted because my I.D. makes me "guilty by association", I must lodge a strong protest. I urge you to always err on the side of free speech. Chairperson "Jenna" at the Market Gems board had no possible argument about the content of my deleted post that could possibly be compelling enough to justify an exception to free speech principles. The basis for and the content of my post were humor. There was no maliciousness or profanity in the post.
Since you, yourself, have experienced being "removed" from S.I., (on a much more serious than just a "member level", in your case) please tell me why you would approve a request to delete my humorous reference to 2 S.I. member suspensions. Is such a thing so serious and somber a matter that humor is an inappropriate reaction ?
This site will not be well served if you approve requests to delete messages because of the perceived reputations or influence of accusors and accused.
