Do you suspect some selfish trickery and manipulation at work here?

Are we being marginalized?

There could be some deft maneuvers behind the scenes to either shake us out or starve us out through discouragement whereby they use our capital for a season or two and then discard the promise associated with the use of that capital.

A squeeze-out process.

But exactly how could this be done?
