You are proud to have Joe Canouse as a friend....myself up in Canada, have higher standards...

https://viewer.zoho.com/docs/xkD8f

I found that running "Canouse" through FINRA's online broker look-up
is quite fun (available here:
http://www.finra.org/Investors/ToolsCalculators/BrokerCheck/index.htm).

I pulled the attached report on Joe which is generated for free.
Reports are also available on the other Canouse clan members. Great
service.

What a piece of work he is.

If you notice on page 4 of Joe's report, he's been associated w/ quite
a few firms. I've run each of the names through the broker look up on
FINRA: holy shit, what a bunch of boiler rooms. In particular, Venture
Trading, Chatfield and Josephthal. But all of them are pure garbage.
And note how quickly he would go from one firm to another, staying
only for a month or two at some. From '89 to '92, he was at 6 firms.
Guess he liked Josephthal the most since he stayed at that criminal
enterprise for almost 3 years.

Note that pages 6-21 of his report are all customer disputes,
disciplinary actions and regulatory events.

To make it more clear as to the specific allegations against him
(fraud), here are links to a couple of the relevant statues/rules that
are referenced in the report:
http://www.moneylaw.com/pdfs/securities_pdfs/issuer_dealers.pdf (Rule
3E-600.012(5)) and
http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/publications/pdf_publications/sec_pub10.pdf
(Section 8E(1)(K) and 8E(1)(B) of Ill. Securities Law of 1953).

Just in case there are any remaining souls out there who do not have a
clear picture as to who Joe is, take a look at these links and do your own DD....
