falon, Thanks for the additional info. I lived and worked in Asia from 1977 to 1998 with most of my time living in Singapore which is next to Malaysia southern tip. Have been to the area that the Lynas plant is located many times. Malaysia has a good base of workers to man such a plant. Malaysia has both mining and oil field skilled workers and need exports that are connected to the processing plant.There have been some resistance by the tree huggers, but is now scheduled to be operational this year. Seen a small article in todays paper that the Malaysian Gov. will require Lynas to submit a plan to "immoblise radioactive elements" in the residue that is to be disposed and to control the release of dust to the enviorment.

I believe SNEY's ore will be processed in this facility because there are no other facilities available that I know of. This type of plant is also very capital intensive. If you google Lynas you can research the facility and view some good pictures.

NSS shorting that causes FTD's is against the law.
