No, adding a period won't make a false statement true, and your statement is false.  Removing a security (or any other asset or liability) from an accounting system does not extinguish the ownership interest in it.  Railing about it on a message board does not, as I said, change common law or statute law, both of which are contrary to your statement. (Period.)
