Insiders own 50% of the shares. They are going to dilute stupidly because it isn't in their own self-interest. If insiders owned 5% I would be concerned.

You might as well cover your short now. You aren't likely to scare any more sellers. A recompletion PR that spikes share price could put you in a world of hurt.
