Kids should be just kicking, throwing, catching a ball the best they can...
Each kid is different and grow as different rates.
I personally never used supps, but I ate and worked out like a hog:
In addition to 3 meals a day, I would eat a loaf of multi-grain bread and a box of mack and cheeese (everyday). My muscle grew faster that my bones and ligaments could handle and eventually (the injuries began)
To this day I have a shoulder that has dislocated over 100 times and I have been advised NOT to do surgery as their essentially is nothing wrong....other than certain muscles were overdeveloped. I use a stupid rubberband everyday just so I don't have to worry about dropping my baby if my arm slips out.
