We catch up with Keith Schaefer as he prepares for a Fox

News interview on Chesapeake Energy and what is going on

with that company south of the border...but when we ask Keith

our question of where he sees oil by Christmas of this year,

his answer isn’t as encouraging as others.

He figures oil might well be around where it is at this time.

In the meantime, he is also concerned that if more pipelines

don’t get built, a whole bunch of oil coming from Alberta could

be suffering huge differentials if the pipelines don’t get built.

As far as picking a stock for us...for the next year he suspects

his favorite will be New Zealand Energy, all cashed up

and a good team in place, with its big landholdings and relatively

safe jurisdiction, decent royalty arrangements and receiving

Brent oil prices a year down the road Keith hopes/

thinks the company will be doing 3500 barrels a day and justifying

a price on the company close to double today’s numbers.

He points out that it is a young company and many people

live and die with the results of each new well
