Cannabis Sunscreen = Billion Dollar Idea!

One of the main purposes of cannabinoids is to block UV light for the plants!

So rather than Oxybenzone and other crap causing cancer, Cannabinoids will prevent sundamage, prevent cancer and kill cancer all at once!

After curing cancer, this idea is enormous. Only about 10% of sunscreens are currently safe.

UVB causes dna damage and UVA causes ageing of the skin.

Cannabinoids block UVB and have anti-aging properties...

Life was made to work like this, we should all be greatful there are brilliant people like Dr. Bob to work this out for us.

check out this post I made before!

What evolutionary purpose do Cannabinoids have to Plants?
SUNSCREEN!
I had not yet realized the GENIUS of this Idea in its entirety. What evolutionary purpose did THC fufill, why do plants make it? It seems to protect plants from UV rays...

...protect from UV rays...

...protect plants, protect humans, protect life?

Life is a fractal, and you're inside. That tiny pattern we make will be echoed into eternity.

Green Sunscreen...$$$$$$$$

Jimi once sang about hearing a train coming...

Might that have been the GREEN train? Coming to bring a new era or health and wealth prosperity to humanity?

Time for some scholarly DD. Being a member of the research community I have access to scientific literature which is not free for the general public. A grievance for the free distribution of knowledge perhaps, but gives me (or anyone wanting to pay) a clear advantage in their scientific DD abilities. So take heed investors at some DD you would not have seen if not for this poor little aliquot.

(Strait from the Text, No Jokes, hehe..but it is funny

Quote:INTRODUCTION
Cannabis sativa L. contains a number of secondary
metabolites (cannabinoids) that are species specific.
Although the biosynthetic pathway of the major
cannabinoids has been established (Mechoulam,
1970; Shoyama et al., 1984), the regulation of cannabinoid
production remains unsolved. Some
researchers contend that cannabinoid production is
genetically controlled and uninfluenced by environmental
factors (Doorenbos et a/., 1971; Fetterman
et a/., 1971). Other studies indicate that although
the primary control appears to be genetic, cannabinoid
production can be modified by an environmental
component (Haney and Kutscheid, 1973; Latta
and Eaton, 1975; Turner et al., 1982).
Although the mechanism is unknown, a relationship
exists between cannabinoid content and the
altitude at which C. sativa is grown. Mobark et a/.
(1978) suggested that the high-altitude environmentwas responsible for an increased production of
propyl cannabinoids in plants grown at 1300 m. The
average total cannabinoid content of wild, mature
(flowering) Indian C. sativa from elevations
between 250 m and 1000 m was 2.43% (by dry wt);
between 1000 m and 2000 m was 3.01%; and above
2000 m was 1.39% (Turner et al., 1979). The cannabinoid
content in four out of five of these mature
Indian C. sativa variants decreased when grown at
sea level in Mississippi, USA.
One likely factor which may be of significance to
cannabinoid production in both high-altitude and
tropical environments is ultraviolet radiation.
Measurements made in Utah showed that the biologically
effective ultraviolet-B radiation flux (UVBBE
280-320 nm, weighted with a generalized plant
response function, Caldwell, 1971) at 3350 m is
32% greater than at 1500 m (Caldwell er a/., 1980).
Latitudinal variations of solar UV-B radiation are
also considerable. Numerous studies have shown
the deleterious effects of UV radiation on many
unrelated plant species (for reviews see Caldwell,
1971; Klein, 1978; Teramura, 1983). Tolerance to
UV-B radiation in some plants has been attributed
to their ability to produce secondary metabolites,
such as flavonoids, which absorb and prevent actinic
UV-B radiation from penetrating plant tissues
(Caldwell et al., 1983; Flint et al., 1985). Cannabinoids
in fresh plant tissue are in the form of acids
(Doorenbos et al., 1971) that strongly absorb UVB
radiation, making these compounds likely candidates
as solar screensPate (1983) reported that C. sariva populations
originating from high UV-B environments contained
little or no cannabidiol (CBD) but high levels
of A'-tetrahydrocannabinol (Ay-THC), while the
opposite was true for populations from low UV-B
environments, and proposed that the two distinct
C. sativa chemotypes (drug and fiber) evolved as a
result of selective pressures brought about by
UV-B radiation.

Solar Screens huh? HOW VERY INTERESTING...

What Is the absorbance spectra of cannabinoids you might ask? Oh well this information also would not have been free, but I'll let my fellow $CBIS investors in on it for free.

Ultraviolet absorption spectra. The ultraviolet absorption spectra of the cannabinols,
measured inlMl% ethanol (Figs. l-4), show a marked absorption band over the
range 275-285 nm characteristic of the phenolic structures assigned to these compounds.
7-1s ho-THC and Aa-THC both show absorption maxima at 278 and 283 nm.
CBD possesses a very similar absorption spectrum with a single absorption maximum
at 278 nm. The absorption spectrum of CBN shows a small shift to longer wavelengths
with an intense maximum at 285 nm, consistent with the results of Jacob and Todd.ll
All these spectra were unchanged in acidic ethanol.

Absorb UV light you say. Hey what does the cannabinoid receptor do for us in our skin?

The Cannabinoid Receptors Are Required for Ultraviolet-Induced Inflammation and Skin Cancer Development

Quote:Solar UV irradiation is an important carcinogen that leads to the development of skin cancer, which is the most common human cancer. However, the receptors that mediate UV-induced skin carcinogenesis have not yet been unequivocally identified. Here we showed that UV irradiation directly activates cannabinoid receptors 1 and 2 (CB1/2). Notably, our data indicated that the absence of the CB1/2 receptors in mice results in a dramatic resistance to UVB-induced inflammation and a marked decrease in UVB-induced skin carcinogenesis. A marked attenuation of UVB-induced activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases and nuclear factor- ?B was associated with CB1/2 deficiency. These data provide direct evidence indicating that the CB1/2 receptors play a key role in UV-induced inflammation and skin cancer development.

How very interesting indeed....

The truth is not far for us to reach, grasping it is another matter.

Did you know there was a sunscreen controversy?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunscreen_controversy

Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quote:Sunscreen protects against two common forms of skin cancer, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and several sunscreen ingredients protect against tumor development in photocarcinogenicity tests in mice. However, there is some evidence, largely arising from correlational studies and in vitro experiments, that particular sunscreen ingredients (such as oxybenzone, benzophenone, octocrylene, or octyl methoxycinnamate) may be paradoxically linked to increased risks of malignant melanoma, a rarer but more deadly form of skin cancer. It has also been linked to vitamin D deficiency.[1] The broad areas of concern are:

potentially carcinogenic properties of some sunscreen ingredients
vitamin D deficiency caused by reduced exposure to ultraviolet light
incomplete protection against the full ultraviolet spectrum combined with increased time spent in the sun

This has led to a sunscreen controversy within the academic community. It is known that some sunscreens only protect against UVB radiation, and not against the more dangerous UVA component of the spectrum. In 2006, a number of class-action lawsuits alleged that sunscreen manufacturers misled consumers into believing that these products provided full sun protection. The lawsuits were settled in 2009.[2] The vitamin D hypothesis is not as widely accepted but continues to generate scholarly debate. Most health authorities and medical associations have concluded that on the whole, sunscreen use is beneficial.[3]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So current sunscreen cause cancer to begin with. How about something that stops the sun, stops the cancer from starting and kills the cancer if you do forget the cannabinoids?

The Cannabis plant is a sustainable mechanism for generating HEALTH AND WEALTH $CBIS) for all humanity...

Some quotes on TRUTH from SIR Winston Churchill...

Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.

A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Well, the truth finally got its pants on! Malicious and ignorant people may deride the truth for the fact it has yet to put it's shirt on. But let me tell you, once the truth is fully clothed, it will reveal to you a working of life more intricate than you ever imagined possible.

Now that I have imbued you with this gem of truth (cannabis cures cancer), please don't walk off as if nothing happened. Spread the word! Cannabis CURES CANCER! INVEST IN CBIS!!

Life is a fractal. And your choices echo to eternity, what pattern will you paint for the ages in this web of life we live.
