If the speculation is correct that the company in question is Musclepharm Sportswear.... I am not sure I would call it a spinoff. If GE spun off a company as a separated entity, the shareholders of GE would be compensated in some manner. This, IMO, appears like it just is a completely separate company that happens to have the Musclepharm name and likely created solely for the purpose of profiting from the Musclepharm name and brand. Really... it looks to me like Musclepharm sportswear is just a very well compensated vendor of MSLP.
