Ant...you are a savvy investor and that is why I appreciate your candid passion about the topic at hand. We all fall under one of three categories: 1)investor 2)speculator 3)gambler. While I agree with you and the majority when it comes to news trumping any charts, one thing I have learned about the "drive by" investor is that they make snap judgements based on looking at a chart and then make a quick investment. Most don't take the time to read the fundamentals or annual reports basing their decsion on a comment, referral or chart. There is nothing more exciting that looking at a chart that has a mountain climbing sky high.
Again, when the news hits, and I feel it will be huge and on many levels, the momentom will be off the charts and many will be casually driving by wondering what is going on and take a snapshot of the chart. Don't we all comment about the rankings when SNEY is top 10 on the charts on this website? Don't we have people who come on here from time to time predicting the future of the stock price based on the chart? People take notice of that stuff as you know. My approach to all of this is a combination of fundamentals, news and charts to maximize affect. I could be wrong, but understanding the psychology of how people want to make money is fascinating and to see a visual chart only soldifies some people's palate for investing.
There are so many investors on here who kept me poised and gritty when I was losing faith and I can't tell you how excited I am about the very near future of SNEY. Because it is going to change the future legacy of my family.
