You do understand that Gayla is Dan Sr's longtime girlfriend. It makes perfect sense that Dan jr would have his name on a home for someone who is basically his step mother and loving companion to his father for most of his life.

Just checking.

On a side note, I will not swear to it but I am fairly certain I have seen the name of Dan MCCoy in some of the related companies, possibly even Cactus.
That would make a whole lot of sense for an obit mentioning two Dan's.
