Gary, i remember driving in south Texas, maybe from
Galveston to Padre Island back in the 80s, and i saw many signs of a ranch called

King Ranch

of course that was 25 years ago,

Am i remembering correctly, or am i way off? and if correct,
are you close by?

And that was definetly a king-sized ranch
