Defuser,

I've been following Qtrax from the beginning, so I have a very good idea of the prospects at this point in time.

I've been a witness to:
(1) all of the failed launches,
(2) the users on iHub promising, month after month, year after year, that good things were coming soon, only for them to never materialize,
(3) the stock's continued downward trend toward being worthless,
(4) the company's overpromising on the song library, the interoperability with multiple operating systems, the compatibility with digital music players, and the P2P aspect,
(5) the company's lack of communication with their stakeholders despite promises to the contrary, and
(6) the lawsuits from creditors.

In the meantime, music streaming services such as MOG, Rdio, and Spotify have appeared and gained traction in many countries. Apple's iTunes Store has expanded to serve more countries than ever before. Amazon's MP3 and Google's Play are continuing to gain momentum in the marketplace too selling MP3s for low prices. Furthermore, we have new entries from Sony and Samsung that will be leveraging the devices they make. Finally, there is YouTube which has an entire host of songs (both legal and illegal) just a few clicks away.

In the end, time has passed Qtrax by. So, to answer your question, the future is certainly bleak. While I can't say with absolute certainty that there is no future, I feel that the odds of winning the lottery are higher than the odds of Qtrax becoming a success anytime soon.
