That is kind of my point in this. MM's make money going up or down. Manipulation occurs imo when mm's (or others) do things to give the "appearance" that conditions are biased one direction or the other when no such bias exists. So thinking deductively, why would a mm or other want to give such an appearance? IMHO its what happens when they either know or have a pretty good idea that a stock is going to change direction significantly and are taking advantage accordingly.
