Seems to me that even though SP is CEO, this company is now run by a team..and this is how they see it. They respect SP as the visionary, the technician..but at this point I'd bet the other members of the board, whoever they are, don't just sit around going , "Yes, Shiva, yes."
And since SP has seen fit to put a team around him, he recognizes that he cannot run the show himself and subcontract everything else out. The team, like any, will need to learn, through times like this one, how to problem-solve together. Perhaps, at the moment, they feel the way to handle today is to keep the consistent voice where it has been found ...but the team has put together their response as a team.
If TIVUS is truly 'ready' as we've been told... they should be able to navigate today;s cluster adroitly.
....unlike the way I handle one shot too many of Sorian brandy. When a Vulcan has tummy trouble...oh, baby, it's gross. There is nothing even remotely subtle about it. It;s alot like running over one of those ketchup packets with your cartire. Perhaps Mr. Scott is not the buddy I thought he was awhile ago.
