Like I said, just my opinion. I was under the impression that they won/settled a suit already and there is another one in the works. If I am mistaken---then many apologies. I have personally dealt with the USPTO in my previous line of work and have been monitoring their changes in scope where technology is concerned (and internet media.) I could be totally off base about previous CEO, but I have seen this with other companies quite a bit (previous work) so I was drawing a conclusion based off past experience, having nothing to do with NeomMedia specifically.
I called the Global Headquarters, and left a message and he called me back. I certainly do not know the volume of information that some do on this site about NeoMedia or QR codes or the like...but I do know businesses and I do know Media relations VS reality---I wish they were more in line with eachother here.
However unless they are purposefully turning away business or offending people, they would almost certainly benefit from the QR awakening going on in the market---even if it is not announced at the present time.
