Yes, people buy stock in hopes of making money. That is the purpose... but without a REASON to buy a specific stock, then are you just tossing money at random companies, hoping you'll hit a bullseye?

What are your personal reasons for investing in this specific company? If you can answer that, and those reasons are still valid, isn't this still a good investment?
