Personally, I think you have to have skin in the game to vote. You pay taxes, you get a vote. You don't, no vote.

So sue me...I don't think peeps should be permitted to vote themselves OTHER people's money! Not what the Founders intended. Need to work for it. Like ICPA does. Work it, work it.

That's not to say I don't want to take care of the truly unfortunate. I do. I just want to control where my money goes and think I can do so better than any government buying votes. That's why I choose to buy ICPA - so I have more money to do and give as I choose! And why I choose to hold long term so Uncle Sam's piece is smaller.
