The market is a certain number of trades conducted over time one way or another. That's it. What's happening in the market is what's happening in the market.

Some people can better conceptualize trading action via charting and that's fine with me. What irks me is when people don't even try to understand the "why" of the trading and I honestly don't believe those people are accurate more than 50% of the time, disregarding chance.
