The Seaside Hight's boardwalk is probaly the 3rd biggest and most visited boardwalk on the East Coast.
Daily at least 3 to 4 thousand people and at least 20,000 on the weekends. And that's all throughout the summer and even longer, and it's every day because of the 1000 or so summer rentals around the Seaside area, Tom's River and up to Point Pleasant, NJ. Also, thousands from NYC drive down there like clockwork.
It has two large ride piers one at each end.I know this because I've got 6 Grandchildren and I have spent lots of time at this boardwalk and have a summer place up the road a mile or so.
"Jersey Shore" begins it's 2012 series on TV this week also, at the boardwalk. As many of you know, it's filmed on the Seaside Boardwalk where they live in a house there.
Memorial Day weekend when I went looking for the booth, I ran into a few Jersey Shore guys with their film crew trailing behind.
If the booth is really near Rita's Ice, it's in a great location, right near the rides. And, if the Jersey Shore cast gets some of these cones, and I can't see why not, they will probaly talk about it on the show. Being their all Italian. But this is Just My Opinion, so don't go posting it as real, but I think it's a great possibility.
This is a great way to test the product too, and if it's as good as some say, it will greatly help promotion of the product.
Let's hope it's opens on the boardwalk soon.
