Well, the Governor doesn't really have a say in it, directly. Suppose you worked at the DRMS and got a call from the Governor's chief of staff asking "is everything going OK with this POW mill, and how does it look for approval? The Governor is asking." What do you think you would do? Sit at the DRMS board meeting and ask silly unimportant questions, or do your job and look good "in front of the eyes of the Governor"? I know what I would do. Funny what a simple phone call can do.
