My comment: In reading this article I find some really amazing comments as to what the Fed should or should not do. The problem is that our current problems are the culmination of 25 years of Fed interventions and their creating bubbles in both the stock market and housing. The fact of the matter is that there are no good solutions. IT'S TOO LATE. The Fed can delay the inevitable crash, but it cannot prevent it. I expect to see some panicking in Washington and in Europe very soon. That should result in some really "well reasoned" policy response.
