I don't see that they will have much chance of success as oil, nuclear, and coal are much poorer and more prolific sources, imo.

It is curious that they aren't so vocal regarding those sources. Why the attack focus on a much cleaner alternative?

There are way too many other big and small environmental problems for them to address.

This leads me to believe it is a situation where the "bark is louder than the bite".
