May 29, 2012 (ACCESSWIRE-TNW via COMTEX) -- CARDIFF ENERGY CORP. (the "Company") is pleased to report that the drilling phase of its Osage County - Buzzard Sand oil play is completed. All three shallow wells were air drilled within the past week, logged and cased to a final total depth of just over 800ft.

All three wells reported significant hydrocarbon shows during the drilling process and log evaluation has revealed multiple zones of interest throughout the Buzzard Sand sequence in each wellbore. Indications are that upon completion, all three wells will be capable of oil and/or gas production. Due to multiple zones and both oil and gas potential, a cost efficient completion strategy is presently being developed and should be implemented during the month of June. All evaluations (flow tests) will be conducted through perforations and will be supervised by Superior Oil and Gas, LLC who operates many wells in this region of Oklahoma.
